Sue Mort – Online Clinical Hypnotherapy & EFT
Sue has an incredible gift for creating a deeply safe and nurturing energetic space. During our session, I felt held in a way that allowed me to completely let go and explore what was beneath the surface. Her presence and voice is calming, intuitive, and steady—creating an atmosphere where real healing and transformation can unfold. I could feel the shifts happening on a deep level, guided gently but powerfully by her energy. This work goes far beyond words—it’s something you feel in your whole being. Thank you so much guiding me through this process and I’m so grateful to have found you—thank you for all that you are and all that you offer
My ‘hypnotherapy with heart’ invites you to bring self-compassion, curiosity and commitment to our work together whether you’re looking for a change in behaviour, personal development or just to be the best version of you.
I offer a compassionate, professional and evidence-informed practice. I use clinical hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as ‘tapping’, and draw from Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
These powerful complementary approaches recognise our natural capacity for change and healing and support practical, lasting transformation of thoughts, behaviours and emotional responses. I use them, where appropriate, to help you with a wide range of concerns including confidence, stress, unwanted habits, stop smoking, IBS, chronic pain, weight loss and life transitions including menopause. They’re also useful if you’re seeking to live more authentically or to reach your full potential.

What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as Tapping, is a complementary self-healing tool that we can use together either as a stand alone therapy, as part of a counselling session or an adjunct to hypnotherapy. It uses your body’s natural stress reduction points, as in acupressure and acupuncture, to produce rapid change. Stimulating these points while focusing on current difficulties or challenging past experiences has been scientifically demonstrated to quickly reduce depression, anxiety and phobias. It is an amazing cravings buster and can potentially improve mood, boost vitality and positivity, and impact work or sports performance. It can also be applied to other common conditions e.g. pain*, fears, addictions**, cravings, weight management, insomnia, and guilt.
*Pain – consultation required with your medical professional beforehand and not recommended if there have been recent changes to mediation or symptoms.
** Addiction – not recommended in circumstances where sever withdrawal symptoms can be experienced e.g. opioids or sometimes alcohol, i.e. if physical dependence is present.

Will it work for me?
Research has found that the majority of people an be hypnotised, with the best results being experienced by those with a good imagination and the ability to get lost in a game, book or TV programme. Readiness and motivation to change is key. And hypnotherapy can help with motivation too, for example, if you have important reasons to change or your health is at stake.
But what if I have ADHD?
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on you and also your individual needs and desires. Initially, we have an initial complimentary virtual 30 minute consultation (50 for smoking /vaping cessation) to explore your issue, and you can ask questions about the process. Then, we schedule an appointment for the hypnotherapy. You will be provided with audio recordings to listen to at home – a minimum or 21 days is recommended to embed the changes. The number of sessions ranges from 1 (eg for smoking cessation) to about 8, usually lasting approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Certain issues, like smoking cessation or weight management will involve initial ‘homework’.
How do I pay?
Payment is gratefully received by BACs, after consultation, and on booking, with a minimum of 48 hours in advance of sessions.
